Banking jobs

The bank performing a variety of accounting duties, conducts Fedline terminal operations, prepares and issues wires, originates the daily position report, processes accounts payable and receivable transactions, balances the Federal Reserve account, performs correspondent account reconciliation, determines loan costs and amortization, conducts branch cash counts and certifications, receives and distributes mail and correspondence, maintains files, and performs other duties associated with the Bank's general ledger accounts.

The Administration is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Department Manager and officers, coordinates functions, meetings, training sessions and special events, maintains office, marketing, and training room supplies, participates in advertising and promotional activities, greets visitors and answers the telephone, receives and distributes mail and correspondence, gathers data and compiles various reports for management, photocopies materials, maintains files, issues correspondence, promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations

Examines the accuracy and completeness of records and procedures for internal control to safeguard Bank assets and ensures areas of the Bank are in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Reports audit findings and recommendations to mitigate risk directly to the Bank's Audit Committee. Performs supervisory duties of department staff, coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.

Oversees the daily operations of all Department functions, ensures activities run smoothly and efficiently, promotes the image of the Bank in a professional and positive manner, provides supervision, guidance, coaching, recognition, motivation and training to department personnel, participates in marketing campaigns and product launches, attains sales, quality control and customer service goals. Performs direct supervisory duties of department staff and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas.

Reviews and approves, declines large and complex loans prior to submission to Loan Committee. Determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans assists loan officers in writing loan requests, promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. This position is typically aligned with the routine outbound collections calling process and frequently requires guidance on non-routine situations, ensures attainment of individual, department and Bank wide goals to minimize loss and enhance loss recovery. The position has a direct and important impact regarding the mitigation and recovery of Bank losses. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks, reviews reports, prepares correspondence, and participates in special projects.
