The active probe differs from the other one in that there is a small button on it which will, if pressed and released within about a second and a half will cause the meter reading displayed to be spoken. The engineers at work thought they might buy one for the Hospital for calibrating our emergency generator. Apparently dedicated frequency meters cost around three hundred dollars.
